More Space for the Future

Around 1981, the house continued to grow with the addition of an extension. The hotel also has a ski lift, built by Silvester Berger in 1960, which is now an established part of Rein's winter sports offering.

In 1996, the twins Nadja and Sarah were born and became part of the next generation of the Berger family.

A New Generation Joins

Since 2022, daughter Nadja and her partner Gabriel have joined the business and aim to continue running the hotel and farm. Gabriel pursues his passion and, whenever time allows, works as an internationally certified mountain and ski guide.

Hotel, organic farm and Durra Alm

Hotel Berger includes not only the hotel itself, but also an organic dairy farm. The fresh organic hay milk is collected daily and taken to the local dairy, where it is processed. The farm also includes the Durra Alm, where the cows spend the summer.
