Our hiking hotel in the Ahrntal valley lies in the heart of a hiking paradise. Surrounded by the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park, forested slopes and grey, partly glaciated mountain giants. Whether hiking from hut to hut or along high-altitude trails, here in Rein you can walk as far as your feet will carry you.
Mountaineering
For ambitious mountain enthusiasts, the Ahrntal valley offers ideal conditions for impressive high-alpine tours. Challenging peaks, alpine routes and spectacular views make the region a special destination for everyone who wants to experience the mountains to the fullest.
Via ferratas
The Tauferer Ahrntal valley also has plenty to offer climbing enthusiasts, from easy to difficult routes, children's via ferratas and the Hans Kammerlander Extreme, there is something for everyone.

Skiing & cross-country skiing
In addition to a chairlift and a drag lift, Rein in Taufers offers a 15km cross-country ski trail. The trail pass is free for our guests. The Speikboden, Klausberg and Kronplatz ski areas can be reached within 20-30 minutes.
Ice climbing
With more than 30 ice-climbing routes, the Reintal valley is a true paradise for anyone looking for unique frozen waterfalls of every difficulty level.
Ski touring & snowshoeing
From midwinter through to spring, the Reintal valley offers everything from easy snowshoe hikes to high-alpine ski tours. We provide snowshoes to our guests free of charge.
